Second Circuit Affirms $168 Million Award to BofA Unit

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled on Friday that Usinas Itamarati owes $146 million to Merrill Lynch Capital Services Inc. in connection with a 2007 loan and interest-rate swap, plus $18 million in interest and $3.6 million in attorneys fees. MLCS was advised by Simpson Thacher and Usinas Itamarati by Quinn Emanuel.
